In this video, Ken explains how he lost his mind and entered a mead contest for the first time. Along the way, he gives his impressions of the contest (as well as competitions in general), he offers suggestions for the contest creators to consider, he gives the judges' scores/comments, and he also gives his response.

The mead contest that Ken entered was Mead Stampede. This contest was put on by ‪@DointheMost‬ ‪@ManMadeMead‬ and ‪@FaewoodMead‬. For the allowed four entries, Ken entered his Dark Elf (see our three-part series on our channel page, tasting link down below), his Viking Blaand (link down below), his Hydra Mel (stay tuned for our upcoming hydromel series where Ken shows how to make Hydra Mel as well as other hydromels), and the special Cattle Battle category mead (see link down below). As Ken noted, the Cattle Battle mead was exceptionally unique, verging on cruel.
