Описание к видео Königstiger 104 - King Tiger 1/16 - Taigen conversion

Finished! King Tiger 104 of the 101.s.SS.Panzerabteilung, Normandy August 1944. This tank is one of the few King Tigers which survived the war. The King Tiger 104 (chassis number 280093) was build by Henschel in July 1944. It was abandoned by its crew after the final drive broke on 29th august 1944 west of Magny-en-Vexin.

The build took 3 ½ months. It is a conversion of the Taigen metal King Tiger. I used ATAK Zimmerit, some Parts from "Heikes Modellbaugasse" and designed a lot of parts in 3D and printed them (SLA).
Electronics are Elmod Fusion Pro Rev.F, a Modellspiegel gearbox, Visaton speaker, servo powered recoil and cannon elevation. All powered by a 2S LiPo.

Painted with Tamiya and AK Real Colors.
