Based on Ephesians 1:9–10, 22–23 – Having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Before the world began, God purposed a grand design—to unite all things in Christ. In this devotional, TableTalk Magazine explores how the church is not an afterthought in God’s plan, but the very goal toward which redemption moves. In Christ, heaven and earth are gathered, broken creation is restored, and the redeemed are knit together into one body, radiating His glory.

Sin shattered creation’s harmony, yet through the Lord Jesus, God rebuilds what was lost. In His church, divisions dissolve, peace reigns, and the manifold wisdom of God is displayed to all creation. This divine gathering is the heartbeat of redemption itself—the eternal plan fulfilled in Christ, who is the head of His church and the fullness of all things.
