Ever since my own 'spectacular' dismissal I've been interested in exploring the question...'What Makes a Great Comeback? Does it need to be noteworthy? Do I need to get my stuff back and be able to demonstrate it to the world? The title, the job, the identity, the relationship?

This aspiration - whilst not wrong - often comes from a 'prove it' energy. An 'I'll show them' energy. This type of energy can certainly light a fire under us, and is no doubt useful for a period, but I've come to believe that there is a subtler, deeper, longer lasting Comeback available to us. A return to self.
