The Learning and Development Initiative (LDI) is a division of NJIT, operating in collaboration with NJIT’s wholly owned non-profit, the New Jersey Innovation Institute (NJII). LDI connects individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed through a dynamic portfolio of non-degree credentials, including courses, custom training programs, and workforce development opportunities. LDI has developed custom content tailored for women in architecture and business, offering skills-based learning, upskilling and reskilling programs, and non-degree credential workshops. These workshops—available in virtual, instructor-led, and interactive formats—are designed to empower and add value to AIA NJ women.

Founded in 2014 as a 501(c)(3) organization, NJII is an independent, non-profit corporation affiliated with NJIT. It is uniquely positioned to be agile, entrepreneurial, and results-driven.
