Self-styled leader of a Serbian paramilitary group, Zeljko Raznatovic, also known as "Arkan" and his troops the 'Tigers' brigade have moved from Belgrade to Sanski Most.

The move is a bid to help Bosnian Serb troops dig in against Moslem forces.

In a move aimed at helping Bosnian Serbs dig in against Moslem forces, paramilitary forces led by Zeljko Raznatovic have relocated from Belgrade to Sanski Most.

Raznatovic -- also known as "Arkan" -- and his troops the 'Tigers' are blamed for some of the worse atrocities in Croatia and Bosnia.

A former MP in the Serbian parliament, Arkan is a folk hero for many Serbs.

He became famous when his troops liberated eastern Bosnia near the Drina river in 1992. Arkan's troops also claimed victory in Krajina in February 1993 when the Maslenica Bridge was captured.
