Sr. Mina Amir is an organizational psychologist, educator, and scholar-practitioner. She has been associated with education for the past 17 years. Out of which, the last eight years have been spent in Islamic education. She is a Director of Organizational Development and Montessori Programs at a local Islamic School in Atlanta. During her career with Islamic school, she established the first Islamic Montessori program in Metro Atlanta and expanded it over these years, which now serves early childhood to elementary education. She has provided training and development to several Muslim women who have now become certified teachers. Sr. Mina has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master's in Industrial and organizational psychology. She is now pursuing her doctorate in Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership with a concentration in Human Resource Development. Her research focus is Muslim women's experience in American workplaces.

We should be so thankful to Allah subhanahu watala that we live in United States of America where practicing our faith is guaranteed by the constitution of the land, and therefore we are guaranteed to educate our children according to our faith.
We all know the importance of Islamic education for our children, and we are actually responsible to make sure that our children get the best possible Islamic education that we can afford as parents.

In this meeting with our sister Mina, she will help us understand this importance, and give us some guidance.
