In a disturbing daylight incident in Samrala’s Harnam Nagar (Street No. 1), two unidentified bike-riding assailants snatched a gold chain from a woman who was walking with her young child. The entire incident was captured on CCTV. According to the victim, the two men approached on a motorcycle, grabbed her neck, and fled after snatching her gold chain. One of the suspects was wearing a helmet, and both were clean-shaven. The woman mentioned that they claimed to be tenants in the area.

Local residents rushed out upon hearing her screams and were informed about the chain snatching. The Samrala SHO confirmed receiving a call about the incident and stated that CCTV footage is being examined. Authorities are confident the culprits will be identified and arrested soon.
