Will deflation rear its head soon and cause lumber prices to collapse? What affect would that have on construction and real estate prices. I believe that lumber and building materials will collapse due to soaring Food Inflation. Think about it like when a barrel of oil was $131 and gas costs were high and once people didn't want to travel because of the high fuel prices they stopped and the price of oil and gas collapsed. Lumber price will come down after enough people stop buying and hold off on their building projects. What about negative interest rates is there a silver lining?
