Nickelodeon Bumpers/Commercials (May, 2006) [The Most Early 2000s Thing You Will Probably See]

This was recorded during a showing of Jimmy Neutron's S2 three-part episode "Win, Lose, Kaboom!" Not sure of an exact date yet, but it had to of been the week prior to May 5, 2006.

First things first, I experienced some turbulence while recording, so some of the beginning portions are cut down due to signaling issues. The audio and video were drastically off, but I was able to resync them together almost seemlessly. I apologize for this as this is the first time this kind of thing has happened.

Onto the fun stuff. Oh my God does this capture my childhood and the pinnacle of humanity perfectly. Every commercial in this masterpiece is its own form of cringe, cursed, wholesomeness, and Early 2000s flare. The fake raccoon dubbing to an RV ad, the fact Over the Hedge had a video game, frickin baby bottle pop, those god awful Hershey kissables, and most importantly the anticipation of Cars. It's like I'm about to graduate 4th grade all over again.

This is also my first nickelodeon conversion. I wanted to try something new after dealing with soooo many cartoon network commercials. As a kid CN was my go to station, but Nick was always #2. Sorry to the Disney Channel fans out there, it just didn't appeal to me lol. Anyways, this whole tape has stuff like Spongebob, Drake and Josh, and hopefully some Nicktoons Network content, so I'll be uploading more eventually.
