The City of Bend, Oregon (City) requests proposals from qualified firms to provide Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) services for pre-construction and construction of the Newport Corridor Improvements Project - 1RNPR, formerly known as the Newport Pipe Replacement project. The project consists of replacing the failing storm drain system along Newport Ave from College Way to 9th St and continuing down Nashville Ave to the Deschutes River. As a City synergy project, work will also consist of repairing, replacing or upgrading all insufficient or potentially insufficient infrastructure within the project corridor in an effort to avoid major capital improvement projects within this project corridor for the long term future. The scope of the drainage improvements are also subject to the updates incorporated into the Stormwater Master Plan Update (1RMP1). There is a Mandatory Pre-Bid scheduled for November 13th at 1:00 PM & the deadline for submitting bids is December 4th at 2:00 PM.
