Labocosmetica vs Armour Detail Supply Pro Ceramic Coating Battle. Is the labocosmetica ceramic coating dead? Or just hiding underneath that filth? Here is now officially the 4 and a half month update on two professional grade ceramic coatings. I’ve been neglecting my vehicle constantly to see which coating will fail over time. The time has come to get a full proper decontamination wash and maintenance. Where we will use Labo Cosmetica Primus and Purifica. As for Armour Detail Dupply we will use Iron remover and Shampoo +. As for the water spot remover we will use DIY Detail Water Spot Remover.

Labocosmetica STC & HPC is a certified installer only coating and ADS Pro Quartz is just a vetting process to ensure you have enough experience with ceramic coatings.

In the past 4 months after the first month update we noticed that the Labocosmetica side was slightly clogged. We just used water spot remover as it was still winter and that was due to the salt on the roads masking and clogging the coating vs the ADS side was still beading strong.

I decided on my own vehicle for this year 2024 to remove my Cerakote Ceramic Coating and coat half my vehicle with Labocosmetica STC + HPC and the other with Two layers of Armour Detail Supply Pro Quartz.

I polished and prepped the entire vehicle off screen. I washed, Decon and Polished the vehicle. What I used was the Gold Standard Polish and DIY Wool Pad and did 3 quick passes to remove the previous coating.

For context my Cerakote Ceramic Coating did not last that’s why I removed it.
