Paronella Park began in 1929 when one man, José Paronella, purchased a plot of land in Queensland, Australia and proceeded to follow his dreams by building a castle for he and his wife. This massive compound features castles, gardens, fish ponds, suspension bridges, and even a hydro-electric power plant! Today, the park is open to the public for visits and tours.
