Horus HoVR Optics Package - Scope, Rangefinder, and Weather Meter Unboxing

Описание к видео Horus HoVR Optics Package - Scope, Rangefinder, and Weather Meter Unboxing

Turns out Horus doesn't just make the best reticles in the world, they make a powerful delivery system for those reticles: the Horus HoVR scope. An interconnected rangefinder and weather station put the cherry on top.

This Horus HoVR scope is a 5-20x50mm configuration with side parallax adjustment and a Tremor5 reticle in the first focal plane. The Tremor 5 reticle includes the drop and wind dots of the Tremor 3 reticle, but removes a few markings to create a cleaner view. All of the knobs and adjustments on this Japanese-made scope feel precise and consistent, with a smooth, firm feel that won't move accidentally. Somewhat small elevation and tracking turrets are easy to read and feature perfect clicks. And don't worry about the small elevation adjustment range on this scope. Remember that the reticle is designed to do that work for you: don't dial; use the dots. Overall I'd say this is designed for high-speed precision work out to mid-long distances like 1,000 yards and not much beyond. It depends on what round you're using.

The other two elements of this kit are a 2,000-yard capable rangefinder and a weather meter that can collect wind speed, barometric pressure, altitude, and temperature. Both units send their information to the Horus ballistics app, which then plots the solution for you.

We'll test the entire system soon. Watch for that. Based on my previous testing with the Horus Tremor3, I expect this combo to help me make precise hits quickly in shifting winds.
