the 'barefoot bushman' travels to the stunning cape york peninsula via ship at the end of the northern australian wet season. rob bredl, travels with a fishing guide gary wright, to catch various species of fish including 'barramundi' and queen fish. rob bedl, also catches up with local scuba diver and finds out more on queensland's own version of the titanic the RMS quetta where 130 lives were lost at sea when RMS quetta struck an uncharted rock in 1890. in part 2 of this documentary barefoot bushman explores aboriginal cave paintings, world war remnants and artifacts as well as the native reptiles which inhabit the region including various pythons and birds.
