I tried skimming my ceiling, but OPENED A CAN OF WORMS!

A few months ago when I taped our new plasterboard ceiling, many of you said I shouldn’t try to skim my own ceiling and that I should hire a professional plasterer.

But a few weeks ago, I had great success with dotting and dabbing our new walkway opening, then using some gifted Roll Nova roll on skim plaster. I couldn’t believe the flawless finish I achieved.

So, in this week’s video, I try to answer the question: can a beginner or amateur skim their own ceiling?
