Forging a damascus pata for Art Knife Invitational with llya Alekseyev and historical commentary by Matt Easton of scholagladiatoria. This Gauntlet Sword from India as envisioned by Ilya. While working in the historical context this is a piece of original art that was made to be presented as one of three items that he made for the Art Knife Invitational show. This build has everything from armor work to mosaic damascus and even chasing and repoussé. Bladesmithing and blacksmithing we a dose of original artwork.
