It's been a long long time coming, heck a lot of our viewers probably don't even know this build exists, but we finally have the "Max Bore 304" block back from the machine shop! Starting life as a mild mannered AMC 304 V8 it's now been bored a whopping .125 over, which gives us the ability to run Jeep 4 liter pistons on a 304 rod and crank for a total displacement of 324ci! Big Displacement Baby!

However before we get to the exciting part of engine building and assembly there's some important work that needs to be done with oiling, unfortunately a weakness of not just the 304 AMC V8 but essentially ALL of them all the way up to the AMC 390 and AMC 401! So, buckle on some confidence because it's time to do some drilling and grinding!
