We have reached the banks of the holy River Ganges where thousands of pilgrims come every day to perform or witness ancient rituals.
We will witness three of those rituals: a) burning the dead on pyres at sundown; b) evening chanting ceremonies by Hindu priests; and c) ritual bathing at sunup.
