Farming in a Desert Oasis | SLICE

This documentary takes us in southern Algeria, in the red desert of the regions of Touat and Gourara, in Timimoun « the flamboyant », one of the most beautiful oasis in Africa, dedicated to foggaras (an ancient irrigation system, deeply respectful of the environment but vulnerable to loss by modern techniques which are far less so) and men and women who try to uphold their tradition.
