Introduction to Statistics, Mean, Mode, Median & Range. Word problems

In today's video, we are going to learn how to the mean, mode, median and range of a given data set.

1. mean (average value) = sum of all values in a data set/number of values
2. mode = the number that appears most frequently
3. median = middle number from the list
4. range = difference between the highest value and the least value.
