Bass or Guitar Truss Rod Max'd Out? Make Spacer / Washer!

Quick vid showing how I made a custom spacer so I could get more out of a max'd truss rod on a Fender bass. You'll see what a pain this can be in the video! A couple easier solutions might be:

1. Buy a second truss rod nut. Ream out the threading with a drill. Then slice off a thin portion of it to make a spacer, or

2. Buy some pre-made truss rod washers. I found some on eBay here:
