Can You Beat Donkey Kong Country 2 Without Running?

In Donkey Kong Country 2, there are 47 levels that require accurate and deliberate platforming. So, of course in the face of these long jumps and difficult sections, I decided to take it easy and stroll my way to the finish line. And it really sucked.
