Huayhuash Highs and Solo Struggles | 8 Days Along the Andes | November 2022 | 4K

Huauyhuash Circuit, Peru 16th November 2022

One of the most remote and toughest self-supported treks to date. Had the seasons silence of the Huayhuash to ourselves for the entire eight days, sharing the experience with a fellow Brit (Matt), stray dog and a couple of locals.

I've had the Huayhuash on my list for a considerable amount of time and it didn't disappoint. The circuit is around 130 km (80 miles) though this varies depending on the route and typically can take up to 8-12 days to complete. The Toughest aspect of the route is the altitude, scaling several passing all in excess of over 4600m
