James Bond Library Part 002 – Movie Reference Books

Описание к видео James Bond Library Part 002 – Movie Reference Books

Culturedog Sam Hatch was introduced nearly simultaneously to the James Bond film worlds of both Sean Connery and Roger Moore. In either case, he knew one thing – that THAT was where he wanted to live. On the other side of that seemingly impervious silver screen, where motorcycles skied down bobsled tracks and dudes fought other dudes with couches.

Apparently Sam wasn’t the only one obsessed with 007s exploits on the big screen, as Bond-mania eventually led to a cottage industry of information-laced books discussing and dissecting the James Bond films (which were themselves inspired by books – how meta!) and all of the characters, cars, gadgets and locales found within.

Now over three decades since Steven Jay Rubin’s “The James Bond Films” was first published, bookshelves of film fans around the world are cluttered with its various hardcover and paperback children.

So what’s lining Sam’s shelves deep in his villainous volcanic lair? Step inside for a look – just watch out for the collapsible bridge over the pool of deadly bookworms.
