Utilizing Digital Therapeutics - "Selecting and Implementing DTx in Care Delivery"

Northeast Delta Human Services Authority (NEDHSA), in partnership with the Louisiana Department of Health and Foundation for Wellness, announced a new webinar series on Utilizing Digital Therapeutics (DTx). This series will delve into the power of Digital Therapeutics, an evidence-based software intervention that can prevent, manage, and treat various behavioral health conditions.

Through the DTx webinar series, professionals will learn how to integrate DTx into practice, leverage its potential to reduce disease burdens, improve clinical outcomes, and enhance patient lives. The content learned will be submitted for continuing education and is appropriate for physicians, nurses, social workers, licensed professional counselors, and other behavioral health care professionals.

This is the fifth DTx Webinar from July 7, 2024.

SPEAKER: Dr. Renae Beaumont

Dr. Renae Beaumont is an award-winning clinical psychologist who is the founder of the online gaming-based therapy program Secret Agent Society (SAS). Originally from Australia, Dr. Beaumont moved to the US nine years ago, and is currently a faculty member and clinician at Weill Cornell Medicine, New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Beaumont is passionate about using technologically innovative approaches to improve the mental health and wellbeing of youth and families. Her research has examined the feasibility, acceptability and effectiveness of wearables, virtual reality, artificial intelligence and therapeutic apps and platforms to assess and treat psychiatric conditions.
