Healthy Land. Healthy Water. Healthy Horse.

This webinar is designed and targeted for professional land, water and biodiversity resource protection advisers, exploring an initiative to engage the equine sector using an established management tool ‘Equiculture’ to promote and facilitate holistic and sustainable horse ownership. Specifically, we discuss opening a dialogue between the equine community and natural resource managers, enabling the outcome of protected waterways, improved wildlife and an environment where domestic horses are part of an ecosystem, not separate from it. Our aim is to challenge traditional land practices and introduce new ones, which improve equine welfare, reduce financial and time burdens for the owners and promote healthy soil, biodiverse ground cover and clean water. This event was hosted by Cornwall Wildlife Trust, Upstream Thinking and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
