Описание к видео Chinese New Year in Liverpool, 22nd January 2012. Stills and video.

Liverpool's Chinatown, twinned with Shanghai, celebrates the Chinese New Year with a parade of Dragon, Lion and Unicorn dancers, who are students and teachers at the Hung Gar Kung Fu school. The dragon, 70 feet long, is a gift from the people of Shanghai. This particular lion is blue and purple, while the Quilin traditionally has a tail striped in five colours. The dancers are closely surrounded by the crowd, so for video I had to raise the camera high above my head on a monopod. Framing was a bit haphazard, but I hope I got some reasonable shots. My brother took some of the stills.
