A very loud 5322 on the TPO at Didcot Railway Centre 26-08-12

Over the August bank holiday weekend, I paid a visit to Didcot Railway Centre to see 70000 Britannia working following repairs to a broken spring. Two steam locomotives were in steam, with 08604 'Phantom' on shunting duties and Railcar No.22 on the branchline. Joining 70000 on the main demonstration line was GWR Mogul 43xx 5322.

At around 3pm, I discovered that 5322 would work three TPO runs, and this video captures the 43xx Mogul moving into position before completing 3 deafening run pasts.

I was delighted 5322 was working the TPO today, I had absolutely no idea that she was to work it until about 30 minutes before. 5322 will be visiting the Mid Hants Railway in a couple of weeks for Maunsell Magic, and this has given me a taste of what is to come on the Alps!
