Interview Question# What is Regression Testing and Retesting?
Regression Testing - Making sure that existing functionality haven't broken due to new features or defect fixes.
Whenever a new build was deployed in the existing application or defect fix was provided by the dev team in the application then there is a chance that due to code change the existing features affected and will not work as expected so we have to execute the regression test pack to make sure the new functionality and existing functionalities also working fine.

Retesting -- The defect raised by the tester was accepted by the dev team once it is fixed then it will be again assigned to testing team for retesting purpose.
Then the tester will again try to reproduce the same defect with the same details provided in the description that is called "RETESTING".
