“We Hope for Your Early Return…” Guyana Prez Lauds PM Modi’s Leadership, Praises Strengthening Ties

At the Indian community event in Georgetown, Guyana's President Mohamed Irfaan Ali on November 22 expressed gratitude for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit. During the address, he urged PM Modi’s early return to Guyana. Following this, he asserted that the relationship will continue to strengthen among the two nations.
"My dear friend and brother, PM Narendra Modi, we had you for more than two days, but still, people cannot have enough of you. It is all because of your hard work, humility and the way you have led. This is not departure, this after today is saying, safe flight back home and we hope for your early return to our beautiful shores. I know with capable men and women that make up your team, with my dear brother, the minister of external affairs, this relationship will continue with your hard work every single day," said Guyana’s President Irfaan Ali.
