I’ve only seen this or heard of the no ping issue happening with the Asahi Round in the video and some of the older Gold Maples.

It’s possible it could be happening in other rounds/coins as well.

Either way, in my opinion it’s best to avoid buying/keeping these no ping rounds because of the hesitation a potential buyer may have in the future.

The no ping thwack sound also happens with iron and tungsten counterfeits. Potentially lead as well, TBD.
