Описание к видео What If I Had Three Minutes To Change The World?: Asia Greene at TEDxPortland

In this virtuoso spoken word performance, tour de force - Asia Greene kicks off the 3rd annual TEDxPortland.

Since she was a young girl, Asia Greene has used poetry as a way to express herself. Her message has always been one of hope, strength and empowerment. Most recently, she was recognized by Portland Police Chief Mike Reese and former Mayor Sam Adams for a poem she wrote about gang violence. Greene is a graduate of Roosevelt High School with a full-ride academic scholarship to George Fox University. She enjoys spending time with her family and doing puzzles with her grandmother.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
