There are some things that make these town hall 12 bases different from any other category of bases in Clash of Clans ( coc ).

First, opponents have 30 seconds to plan and only the army they brought. So, many of these players built their base layout in such a way that the armies most likely to be used in Legends League will not succeed.

Second, sometimes the goal of bases in Legend League is to surprise players with traps in a certain spot or a surprising cc composition to catch attackers out.

The final strategy to town hall 12 defense is a ring base or an island base with an awkwardly positioned town hall so the attacker needs to keep in mind that not getting the town hall would be devastating.
