No Music.. No Talking... To me, Diesel Railcar Simulator is a up and coming Train Simulator worth looking into.. This video is two workshop routes running under the "watch" launch, instead of "drive".. It includes Workshop Routes - Lanaudier v0.6.2 created by Gabsder and about 22 minutes into the video is Newbury Branchlines 1.60 created by bricksathome.. both enjoyable and a big thank you to those adding to the Enjoyment of this title!

Sales Pitch:
Hours of gameplay in three fictitious routes with Inter-City, semifast, stopping, empty coaching stock and freight train services. Most passenger services have tens of departures over the 14hr daytime timetables, running times varying between 15 and 120 minutes. You can choose to drive any train while the other trains run under computer control.
Great replayability. Your driving style and timekeeping are evaluated and scored upon completing a run. Try the same run again to reach a higher score by braking more accurately or by driving more economically. You'll still need to prepare for suprises as traffic and delays may change from run to run.
For beginners and experienced trainsimmers alike. Integrated tutorials are included to assist beginning drivers in learning the train controls and operation. An optional key assistant shows which keys to press, when and why. Enable simple controls to operate the train with up/down keys only, while the actual throttle, shifter and brake levers are computer-controlled. Experienced drivers can operate the levers and other controls directly from the keyboard.

The suspension of each vehicle is made up of axle boxes, bogie frames, planks and bolsters, all individually simulated to make the vehicle bounce and sway over uneven trackwork
Three fictitious routes with different characteristics totalling over 150 miles: 4- and 2-track main lines, short urban and suburban lines, mountainous rural single track lines
Route features: semaphore signalling, trackwork with superelevated curves, clothoid transition curves and individual rail joints
Regular runs and special rescue runs where a train has broken down at one of the stations and you're dispatched from the depot to get it back
Lanaudier:
A fictitious North American network of various speeds. A "semi historical" line passing trough the mountains that is partially refurbished and a part for the low flowing capacity (most likely a tourist line) since the 1880's. A high speed line goes around the line of mountains that deserves a high number of population. This is my first ever line to be published.
*This version contains the mountain line, the high speed line and the old line. The scenarios aren't verified, so expect some delays on the ETAs.
**There isn't original names for the stations and lines yet.

MTN : ~90 km (~56 mi)
HS line : ~105 km (~65 mi)

Newbury Branchlines:

Newbury branchlines is a route focusing on the branchlines around Newbury station in Berkshire, all the branchlines have now closed in real life but were open when the route is set. The current version features a stretch of the Didcot, Newbury & Southampton railway between Didcot and Winchester, as well as the Lambourn Valley and RAF Welford Branch lines. The included timetable includes express, stopping and freight services creating a very busy line where you are almost guaranteed to pass other services at stations.
The track and station layouts are as closely based on their real life 1960s counterparts as I could manage with the information available to me. I've tried to include the 'landmarks' along the route but there are a few things (such as the tunnel just outside Winchester Chesil) that can't be replicated with the route editor's current features.
