Maryam, a woman with a big heart and a steely will, tells the story of her life amidst endless difficulties and challenges. After years of displacement and homelessness, she and her two children now hope to build a small, safe home for themselves. But every time it seems they are on the right track, new problems arise.

While building a small wooden hut, Maryam comes across an old man who had built a house on her land years ago. This man, seeking damages from Maryam and her family, pursues them. Maryam tries with all her might to provide food and shelter for her children. She struggles with financial and social difficulties, but she never gives up.

After two days of door-to-door and worry, Maryam and her children decide to bravely return to their land and resume building the hut. With a strong spirit and determination, they begin to collect the wood that the operator has brought them. With each piece of wood in her hand, Maryam builds not only a roof for a hut, but also a roof for her and her children’s dreams and hopes.

With each blow of the hammer and with each piece of wood she places, Maryam is building not only a house, but also a safe and peaceful place for her children. She knows that she has gone through a difficult time and still has many challenges ahead, but with the support and prayers of the audience, she believes that she can succeed.
