How to cure chicken liver with borax and salt - tough chicken liver

Borax and salt also preserves the liver so it won't rot easily. Cured liver can last months in the refrigerator or up to a year in the freezer. You can make a big batch and then not have to fuss with pantyhose or bait thread while on the bank.
