This is my version of a voice over or narration to the film 'War of the Worlds'. I wanted to try out a new Audio Technica ATR2500 - USB Podcast Microphone and record my voice in Adobe Audition CS6 sound recording software. I used the soundtrack to the film Interstellar written by Hans Zimmerman. I felt it was the perfect fit for the background music to the script narrated by Richard Burton in the 1953 version of the HG Wells War of the Worlds film starring Gene Barry and Ann Robinson. I used images of the Earth, Moon, Mars and space taken by the Hubble Telescope which I found on Google. At the end of the video, I put together an image in PhotoShop CS6 of Mars and the Martian war machines from the 1953 film version of War of the Worlds. The Martian War machines were actually several different plastic model kits. In the end, it was all put together quickly in Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. To do the voice work more effectively, I built a voice booth using ply wood from Bunnings Warehouse and some sound Acoustic Convoluted Foam which I bought from Clark Rubber.
