By far the most important thing to make protein shake not taste disgusting is to get the best quality brand of protein powder. I went with Optimum Nutrition’s Gold Standard Double Rich Chocolate. It tastes decent just mixed with water but I need to improve it more because I drink it everyday. Adding creatine to my shake helps with my workout goals, and melting real dark chocolate into the mix enhances the texture and also masks the protein aftertaste. Remember, everyone has different nutritional needs, so do your research and tailor your supplement plan. This is just my personal take!
