YAESU FT-2980 The Perfect Starter Radio For The New Radio Ham

The third time around as we look at my YAESU FT-2980 FM Mono band 2 meter Transceiver after 4 years of use. Is it really that good for the price? Well I think it's a definite yes, I have had mine for over 4 years and it is working faultlessly since owning it with no problems or stress.

If you are considering getting a solid robust for portable, mobile or base operating this budget YAESU is awesome and will meet your needs. it has a fantastic reception, great audio, very simple to program and operate and high power up to 85 watts for when you want it. I really like using mine and thought you might like to see it in action 4 years after I first reviewed it. it's still awesome and a great investment.
