Cribl Log Stream Tutorial Using Pipelines to Change Syslog and Sending it To Splunk

This is a video playlist that will cover how to use the Cribl Stream Product. While the product has limitless capabilities, we will demo some of its capabilities by using it to replace a Linux Syslog NG server.

This tutorial will read the syslogs that have been written to file and send them to Splunk. It should be noted that this tutorial is not showing concepts that are always the best practice. This video series was focused on showing capabilities in Log Stream. We could just as easily send the logs straight from the Syslog Server to LogStream and onto Splunk without ever writing them to disk.
