Tunga Bhadra Dam, Popularly Known as TB Dam is the major tourist attraction of Hospet

TB Dam is also known as Pampa Sagar. It was conceptualized by M S Tirumale Iyengar, Civil Engg way back in 1942.

Hospet, officially Hosapete is a city and district HQ of Vijayanagar District of Karnataka. The world famous UNESCO Heritage site of Vijayanagar(Hampi) is approximately 27 KM from District HQ.
It is well connected by Rail/Road from Hubbali, Guntakal, Ballari and through them to rest of the India.
