Bombardier Q400 Hijacking and Crash at Ketron Island, WA

Описание к видео Bombardier Q400 Hijacking and Crash at Ketron Island, WA

On August 10, 2018, a Horizon Air Bombardier Q400 turboprop passenger plane was stolen by 29 year old Alaska ground support employee Richard Russell.

With no piloting experience, Russell successful maneuvered the airplane in and around SeaTac Class Bravo airspace.

The flight ended with high speed impact into terrain on a sparsely populated island just west of McChord Air Force Base.

This video covers the background of the event, ATC communications, F-15C intercept communications, and concludes with my own overflight of the crash site.
