I visited Jaisalmer with my mom and this was her first time staying in a tent. Her review was, "I never thought I could sleep so peacefully. The tent felt so safe."

Royal Golden Camp is a luxurious glamping setup with top-notch facilities, a lovely manager, and delicious food! The tents were super neat and tidy, with a well-made bed with fresh sheets. There were all facilities inside the tent such as a neat washroom, charging points, and a proper place to store luggage.

The manager (host) is a super-friendly local who exhibits a warm smile every time he's around. He ensures everything is managed well, including your food and other queries.

The food (ah, the phulkas dipped in butter and the home-cooked taste) was beyond ordinary. I usually never praise food unless I really really love it. For dinner, we had a chance to taste Rajasthani cuisine: dal bati, ker sangri and churma ladoo. All in all, I enjoyed the cooking style and the rich flavours.

For the evening, we had a camel ride and a jeep safari. It was inclusive in the package because when given an option, you prefer to skip this as it is chargeable. But since this was included in the package, we could enjoy it.

The cultural program in the evening was killer. Local artists giving a performance of dance and music. Folk music and dance! Also, the evening refreshments (pakodas and chai) won my heart, because I wasn't expecting it. Such a royal treatment, truly!

Overall, I recommend this place 10/10, and my mom has to say the same about it. I was worried for her but since she was so happy with this experience, I recommend this place to elderly people as well.
