At the Portofino National Marine Reserve, Italy, technical divers from Portofino Divers are investigating the seabed. Lost fishing gear is spotted at Isuela Rock and recent surveys shows the huge impact of the local fishing industry in this area. Unfortunately there is a lot of work to do.

This video shows GUE divers/volunteers from Portofino Divers working on removal of lost or abandoned fishing gear located at Isuela Rock in the Ligurian Sea (North Mediterranean) at a depth between 40 and 55 meters. It is clear for us, these divers are on a mission and we will post a lot more footage of them very soon.
