Caernarfon Castle hosted the investiture of King Charles’s, the third.
The exhibition showcases how Britain had formulated the empire across globe and the significant role India plays in its formation and transformation.
It also shows the history of Indian Mutiny, the pros and cons of it, how British Army became one from two post mutiny in India, and the service medals for serving in India. Service in India was not easy given the weather and existence of prevailing diseases.
The exhibition also shows how a Goat, became a Welsh Regiment member. The goat of a specific breed was gifted to Queen Victoria by Shah of Persia and then it was gifted by Queen to the regiment and became a member since then.
The wars were not just wars but also helped to shape some to become War Poets. In the video you see such evidences as well.
