Vadiraj is known more for comedy roles but was great producer too. Films produced by him with his brother Jawahar were not just an entertainment piece but used to have good message and songs. Evergreen song 'Barede Neenu Ninna Hesara Nanna Baala Putadali….' from film Seeta of his direction is one such example. Film 'Nandi' starring Dr. Rajkumar and Harini (Vadiraj's sister) was a trendsetter. His other films were Naa Mechchida Huduga, Nava Jeevana, Namma Makkalu, Nammammana Sose, Adhe Kannu, Seetheyalla Savitri. Another film of his Dangeyedda Makkalu was a Swarna Kamala Award winner. Nanda Deepa was yet another film produced by him had won National Award and many State awards. Innondu Mukha - a children film of his was screened in IIFF and other International Film Fests.
