Myakka River State Park | Cabin Tour and River Boat Ride

This was our first time visiting Myakka River State Park. We decided to book a little weekend get away, and stayed overnight in the park at one of the 5 cabins. The cabins are equipped with 2 full size beds, and like we said, you might want to bring a few of your own pillows and blankets.

Because we were staying the night, we didn’t have to pay park admission, but it is typically $6 per car if you are going for the day. Check the weather before you head out, you don’t want to get caught in the rain like we did!

The boat tours run throughout the day, they also offer a Tram tour of the park aswell. The tour was $20 per person, and the times can be found here: https://www.floridastateparks.org/par...
