2017 Hoyt Prevail Preview

Описание к видео 2017 Hoyt Prevail Preview

Hoyt Archery has released a new line of flagship target bows for 2017 – the Prevail 40, Prevail 37, Prevail FX and Prevail FX Short Draw.

Each Prevail Series bow features what Hoyt calls performance-enhancing geometry. Other features include new limbs shocks, new rear stabilizer location, and new hard-lock rear stabilizer system which is designed to keep your rear stabilizer bracket from moving during shooting or while you are tightening it down.

As with the outgoing Podium Series, Hoyt Prevail bows come with a shoot-through riser design, modular grip angle system, adjustable cable guard system and XT2000 limbs.

Each Hoyt Prevail comes equipped with a choice of two new cam and a half performance systems – the SVX and X3.

The SVX is the more aggressive option and essentially replaces the Spiral X cam system. It comes with 65% let-off and a full set of draw length modules. Five different SVX cam system sizes are available, each offering two full inches of draw length adjustment, except for the largest size, which has a half inch of adjustment. One very cool feature of the SVX cam system is that archers can choose the firmness of the back wall and the length of the valley thanks to a new adjustable peg system.

The new X3 cam and a half system is smoother and slower than the SVX and offers a less aggressive back wall. However, archers can choose between using the draw stop peg for a firmer back wall or removing the peg and use the new draw stop machined directly into the module for a softer back wall. The X3 cam system comes with 65% or 75% let-off and has a rotating inner cam module. Draw length can be adjusted in half-inch increments with each X3 cam size offering two inches of adjustment.
