Check out this workout where I train with Nicky Rodriguez, professional Grappler in the ultra-heavyweight category. Will I survive this workout?

The movements we chose for the training session were specific to combat sports.
Here are a few key take-ways...
-Challenge trunk stability from a wide variety of ranges of motion including flexion, extension, rotation and side-bending as well.
-Emphasize explosive movements to replicate striking and shooting.
-Include 'super-sets' and interval training to push cardiovascular demand and simulate the respiratory demands of a fight.
-Incorporate contra-lateral movements simulating running, striking and shooting.
-Incorporate asymmetrical movements to place a torsional demand on the trunk to increase demands of stabilization.
